Camp Dog's Recovery

Boone, our camp dog, spent much of the summer in recovery from a dislocated leg (see the cast?) he injured chasing a wild turkey.

Boone's injury and recovery period allowed one of our ducks to give us our first batch of ducklings since the pond was refilled in 2002. The seven ducklings bring our duck population back up to eleven.

Climbing Tower

Rappelling from the 35 foot high deck of the Tower is a special treat. From the top, it looks much higher than from the ground! 74 year-old Patti Hunter was the "most senior" rappeller during the Tower's first month of operation. SMA offers half-day team-building events using the tower. Cost for the 3.5 hour module is $150, plus $10 per participant. Come try it out!
